[pmb.user] insertion of monography and encyclopedia

Ciao a tutti,
I would like to know in which way do you handle the insertion of a monography 
published in two or more vol.
Do you use only one notice or a different notice for each volume?

If you use only one notice, where do you put the volume numbers?

If you use a different notice for each volume (suppose two) how can you allow 
to distinguish the volumes searching them using the titles? 

And what about an encyclopedia?

I can understand also if you write in french so use the language that you like 
between french english and obviously italian :-)
